Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed from New Guinea to some eastern islands. Seems more common than its allied and very similar species cyanocraspis. See for distinguishing features that species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Japen Island: Ansus; New Guinea: Ampas, Bivak Island (Lorentz River), Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Upper Setekwa River, Tuan Wowi (Prafi), Uskwar, Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Karkar, Fergusson Island.
