Distribution
STATUS: Not very common. In Papua found in the northeastern part, apart from the holotype of the subspecies wallaceana not yet found in the Birdshead Peninsula.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island; Numfor Island: Namber; Biak Island: Korem, West Biak; Supiori Island: Korido, North Supiori; Moor Archipelago: Hariti Island, Here Island, Moor Island, Mowirin Island; Kosong Island; New Guinea: Ubrub, Waena, Wapoga. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Lesser Sunda Islands, Sulawesi, Moluccas, New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago, Solomon Islands, North and East Australia to Fiji.
