Distribution
STATUS: A widely distributed species in the mountains of New Guinea. In Papua the species is represented by four subspecies. The areal of ssp. microsticha crosses the border with Papua New Guinea and more to the east ssp. terranea Talbot, 1928 occurs in Papua New Guinea.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. flavopicta: Hing, Irai, Manokwari; ssp. serratula: Daela, Homeyo, Ilaga, Ilu, Jiwika, Kanggime, Kelila, Kobakma, Landikma, Makki, Modio, Mulia, Pass Valley, Tembagapura, Timeepa, Tiom, Tuguwai, Welesi; ssp. microsticha: Abmisibil, Batimban, Borme, Korupun, Langda, Lukun, Okbibab, Oktanglap, Sumtamon, Walmak; ssp. weja: Foja Mts., Weja.
