Distribution
STATUS: A widely distributed species, probably in the whole Indo-Australian region. It is one of the largest geometrid moths. This species is very variable in pattern and colour.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: Base Camp (Utakwa River), Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Omban, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Syoubri, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Wembi, Werba, Wondiwoi Mts (Wandammen), Yalimo (Baliem Valley), Yasur (Geelvink Bay). Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Taiwan, North India, Malayan Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia).
