Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed in the Walacean region. Rather common. Recently still refered to Macrocarsia Hampson, 1926 but this is a junior synonym of Polydesmiola Strand, 1916.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Batanta Island; Yapen Island: Ambaidiru; New Guinea: Bhayangkara (Jayapura), Fakfak, Hollandia (Jayapura), Kwerba, Landikma, Marina Valen, Ninay Valley, Prafi, Sinimburu, Sorong, Taja Rifi, Wembi, Werba, Yongsu. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Sulawesi, probably also in the Moluccas and Papua New Guinea but not confirmed yet..
