STATUS: Widely distributed in the lowlands of New Guinea. Rather common.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Biak Island: Biak City; New Guinea: Ampas, Bijlslag, Camp Hotice (Foja Expedition), Etna Bay, Fakfak, Jayapura, Katem (Star Mts), Mabilabol, Sentani, Sorong, Tami River, Ubrub, Upper Setekwa River, Waena, Walmak, Wondiboy Mts (Wandammen), Wembi.
