Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: This species replaces Ericeia eriophora Guenée, 1852 from the Oriental region which has its distribution eastwards to Sulawesi. Ericeia goniosema is externally very similar to eriophora. In Papua not very common.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: Keerom, Ninay Valley, Tuan Wowi. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas, Papua New Guinea.
