STATUS: In New Guinea a rare species. There is some variability in the contrast of the white spots, in some specimens it may be very faint or even lacking.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Prauwenbivak, Sorong, Tami River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands.
