The Tigermoths (Erebidae, Arctiinae, Lithosiini) of Papua Indonesia

by Rob de Vos

Scoliacma albicostata Hampson, 1918

[Scoliacma albicostata Hampson, 1918] [holotype: Mt. Goliath, Papua, Indonesia, in BMNH]

endemic species!

STATUS: The status of this taxon is uncertain. It is probably a female of Lambula flavobrunnea Rothschild, 1912 but this should be confirmed by genitalia and DNA. The orange dots in the distribution map represent "look alikes" and are by no means certain identifications. The red dot represents the holotype.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mt. Goliath, [Moanemani, Walmak]. Details in gazetteer.
