Variations

This species is extremely variable. The most occurring forms are depicted here.

 


Distribution

 

 

 

STATUS: A very common species in mountainous areas. The generic position of this species is recently revised.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Abmisibil, Enarotali, Furu Camp (Foja Mts.), Mt. Goliath (Gn. Yamin), Kwerba, Langda, Mabilabol, Modio, Mokndoma, Mokwam, Paniai Lakes, Pass Valley, Timeepa, Walmak (Nipsan), Wasior. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
