Endemic Species!
Distribution
STATUS: Endemic in Papua. Abundant in the Arfak Mountains, in other areas rare. Seems to prefer mountainous areas.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfoor; New Guinea: Ambubaki, Demaisi, Dewaro (Kobowre Mts.), Ditschi (Arfak), Jayapura district (south), Manokwari, Mokwam, Ngat Biep (Arfak), Ninay Valley (Arfak), Sakumi (Arfak), Senopi, Mt. Siwi (Arfak), Subyo, Wai Sai River (Kobowre Mts.), Warkapi (Arfak). Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: none, but is to be expected in Northwest PNG, probably in the Torricelli and Bewani Mountains.
