STATUS: The records of this species certainly concern a mix of several sibling species, some even undescribed. The New Guinea species are being revised and it will certainly result in many new species. Particularly the species found at high and low altitudes will concern different species. Species with this pattern are very common and therefore are difficult to record accurately.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: Benyas (Arfak Mts), Borme, Mt. Goliath, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senopi, Upper Setekwa River, Ubrub, Werba. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
