STATUS: The records of this species certainly concern a mix of several sibling species, some even undescribed. The New Guinea species are being revised and it will certainly result in many new species. Particularly the species found at high and low altitudes will concern different species. Species with this pattern are very common and therefore are difficult to record accurately.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Air Besar, Benyas (Arfak Mts), Boma, Borme, Brazza River, Fakfak, Furu Camp (Foja Mts), Fyria River (Kumawa Mts), Hotice Camp (Foja Mts), Ifar, Kwerba, Meja Reserve (Manokwari), Nabire, Omban, Prauwenbivak, Senggo, Senopi, Upper Setekwa River, Sinimburu, Taja Rifi, Ubrub, Utakwa River, Walmak, Werba, Yongsu.
