Acco albicosta (Hampson, 1914)
Distribution
STATUS: It is a common species but mostly females are found. Males are relatively rare. The species is sexual dimorph with males having a different wing shape and a large oval androconial bladder at the dorsum. Females have normal shaped wings.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Borme, Brazza River, Depapre, Mt. Goliath, Landikma, Lelambo, Mabilabol, Rasiei, Sibil, Timika, Utakwa River, Yuwong. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago.
