STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea but rare, in West New Guinea represented by ssp. wollastoni.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Dorey (Manokwari), Kapaur (Fakfak), Utakwa River. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
