STATUS: A common species, widely distributed.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfor Island: Namber; Supiori Island: Korido; Biak Island: Korem; Japen Island: Ambaidiru, Yapen Barat; Ratewi Island; Moor Island; Wakde Island; Podena Island; New Guinea: Akimuga, Ampas, Andai, Bayun, Borme, Dabra, Digul River, Fakfak, Jayapura, Katan, Kobakma, Kota Nica, Kwerba, Landikma, Mabilabol, Manokwari, Marina Valen, Merauke, Mokwam, Nabire, Sarmi, Senopi, Sentani, Sorong, Sota, Taja Rifi, Tami River, Tanah Merah, Timika, Ubrub, Walmak, Wamena, Wapoga, Wasior, Welesi.
