Distribution
STATUS: A common species. Widely distributed in the eastern part of Indo-Australia, including the Solomon Islands. In the Indonesian part of New Guinea represented by at least three subspecies: poseidon (mainland), teucrus (Biak & Supiori) and kasandra (Yapen). Other described subspecies seems to be variation of the other three.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia), Solomon Islands.
