Distribution

 

 

STATUS: This species prefers lowland (coastal) areas.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. schoutensis (blue dots): Biak: Korem; Supiori: Korido; Numfor: Namber; ssp. medon (red dots): Japen: Wapoga; Waigeo; Salawati: Wayom River; Moor Islands; Podena Island; New Guinea: Ambubaki, Ampas, Andai, Fakfak, Jayapura, Kobakma, Kwerba, Miei (Wandammen), Nabire, Pim, Senopi. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Philippines, Sulawesi, Talaud & Sula Islands, Moluccas, Kai Islands, New Guinea, Admiralty Islands, Bismarck Archipelago, Solomon Islands.
