STATUS: A locally common species. The species is variable and externally difficult to distinguish from similar species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Maibri (Arfak Mts), road Nabire-Ilaga, Rattan Camp, Walmak, Yiwika. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
