STATUS: Rather common, but a local species. Seems to prefer high altitudes.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Mt. Goliath, Lake Habbema, Mt. Kunupi, Manokwari, Mist Camp, Pass Valley, Top Camp. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
