STATUS: A common species which is widely distributed in Indo-Australia. In New Guinea represented by ssp. germana.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Yapen Island; New Guinea: Bidogai, Bora-Bora, Borme, Fakfak, Mabilabol, Manokwari, Mapia (Nabire district), Nabire, Ninay Valley, Parfi, Senggo, Sorong, Ubrub, Walmak, Wandammen Peninsula, Wangaar. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: India to Papua New Guinea, including the Bismarck Archipelago.
