Distribution
STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea. A common species. According to Schintlmeister the genus Phalera is in New Guinea represented by three undescribed sibling species, for the time being the Solomon taxon peruda is mentioned as the valid name but this may change after revision.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Ampas, Arso, Arvio, Asike, Bewani River, Depapre, Jayapura, Kwimi, Nabire-Ilaga road, Om, Parfi, Senopi, Sorong, Tekai, Uskwar, Wambes, Wembi, Wendesi. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands.
