Distribution
STATUS: A common species. Widely distributed in New Guinea. It is rather variable with more or less pronounced pattern.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Ampas, Benyas, Borme, Demaisi, Depapre, Mt. Goliath, Jayapura, Lelambo, Mabilabol, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Pass Valley, Mt. Sabron (Cyclops), Senopi, Sentani, Setekwa River, Sibil, Utakwa River, Walmak, Warmare Dua. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australian tropics east to Samoa and Tonga.
