Distribution
STATUS: A very rare species, only known by the holotype.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: According to Eliot (1986) the type locality is likely to lie in the north-western part of Irian Jaya (so presumably the Birdshead Peninsula in West Papua). Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Logania nehalemia has previously been regarded as a ssp. of L. hampsoni (Fruhstorfer, 1914), which is distributed from the Moluccas (Obi Isl.) through New Guinea to New Britain.
