Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: In Indonesian New Guinea represented by two subspecies. The nomotypical subspecies is rare, ssp. drucei is common.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. pythias: Waigeo Island; ssp. drucei: Japen Island; New Guinea: Ampas, Avona, Bernhard Camp, Fakfak, Jayapura, Kobakma, Kota Nica, Lukun, Mamberamo Raya, Mappi, Miei, Modio, Nabire, Parfi, Sarmi, Star Mountains, Timika, Upper Digul, Yahukimo. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Aru, Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia).
