STATUS: A rare species. In PNG another subspecies occurs, ssp. lucilla D’Abrera, 1971.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Japen Island; New Guinea: Bernhard Camp, Hollandia. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: (ssp. lucilla) Papua New Guinea.
