STATUS: Widely distributed, not a common species in Papua. Represented in Papua by subspecies pratti.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island; Japen Island; Mioswaar Island; New Guinea: Merauke, Sorong. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands.
