STATUS: Widely distributed, a common species.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; Waigeo Island; Batanta Island: Wairey, Waringkabom, Yakut River; Numfor Island: Namber; Supiori Island: Korido; Rani Island; Biak Island: Biak; Japen Island; Roon Island; Rumberpon Island; New Guinea: Bintuni, Cyclops Mts, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Humboldt Bay, Mamberamo River, Marina Valen, Merdei, Nabire, Sarmi, Sorong, Timika, Ubrub, Utakwa River, Walmak, Windesi. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Sula Islands, Buru, Papua New Guinea.
