Aeolochroma albifusaria (Walker, 1866)

discolor (Warren, 1896)Aeolochroma albifusaria and A. viridimedia are very much alike but can easily be distinguished by the underside (verso) of the wings. The pattern of the white band and the colour is different.
Distribution
STATUS: A common species.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Misool Island; Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; Supiori Island: Korrido; New Guinea: Demaisi, Fakfak, Mt. Goliath, Huri-Mber, Mt. Lina (Cyclops), Mabilabol, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Oksibil, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Senopi, Upper Setekwa River, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Wandammen Peninsula, Wembi. Details in gazetteer.
