Distribution
STATUS: A common and widely distributed species. Very conspicuous and unmistaken. The specimens from New Guinea seem smaller and darker than those in the western part of its distribution area. Those in Sulawesi are with more contrasted pattern and the largest in size.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island: Camp Nok; New Guinea: achterland Hollandia (south of Jayapura), Cyclops Camp, Depapre, Dotir, Mt. Goliath, Mt. Kunupi, Mabilabol, Ninay Valley, Nomnagihé, Ok Sibil, Prafi, Sabron Camp (Cyclops), Upper Setekwa River, Sibil, Sinimburu, Tandia, Timeepa, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Walmak, Wamena, Warmare Dua, Wataikwa River. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Borneo, Sulawesi, Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji and New Caledonia.
