STATUS: Widely distributed but rare. For the first time recorded from New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Abmisibil, Walmak, Wasior. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Oriental tropics, Sundaland, Sulawesi, Timor, New Hanover (Bismarck Archipelago).
