Distribution
STATUS: A widely distributed common species. It is found in lowland and at high altitudes in the whole Indo-Australian region. An undescribed sibling and endemic species occurs in New Guinea which will be published soon.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Japen Island: Ambaidiru, Waropen; Roon Island: Yende; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Ampas, Dotir River, Enarotali, Furu Camp (Foja Mts), Hollandia (Jayapura), Mabilabol, Marina Valen, Pass Valley, Prafi, Rasiei, Sentani, Sinimburu, Taja Rifi, Tandia, Tekai (Keerom), Teminaboean, Tuan wowi, Ubrub, Uskwar, Waena, Walmak, Warmare Dua, Werba, Yongsu, Yuruf. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Indo-Australian region, from India to Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia), Solomon Islands.
