Distribution
STATUS: Widely distributed and in Australia very common, in Papua a rare species. Occurring in lowland areas. Its sister species geometrica Fabricius, 1775 is much more distributed in the Archipelago and is also known from Australia. In Papua are no records yet of that species.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Dojo, Ifar, Kouh, Pim, Gn. Meja Reserve (Manokwari), Sentani, Tanah Merah. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago, Queensland (Australia).
