STATUS: Seems less abundant than the previous species rothschildi. For the distinguishing characters see with rothschildi.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Anggi Lakes, Mt. Goliath, Mt. Kunupi, Mokwam, Ninay Valley, Walmak, Wandammen Mts. Details in gazetteer.
