Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: This species belongs to a group of very similar species which are hard to distinguish. It seems that Ericeia pertendens Walker, 1858, which is widely distributed in the Indo-Australian region, is replaced by E. rectimargo in New Guinea. There is no evidens yet of pertendens occurring in New Guinea.
