Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A common species and quite variable. Found in lowland and mountainous areas and probably to be found everywhere in New Guinea.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Supiori Island: Nansfori; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Ampas, Base Camp (Utakwa River), Bilogai, Fakfak, Prafi, Senopi, Utakwa River, Walmak, Waris. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: East-Himalaya, Andamans, Sundaland, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands
