STATUS: The species is closely allied to the Sundanian Asta quadrilinea (Walker, [1863]) which is very similar but differs in genitalia and colour at the underside of the forewing.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Base Camp (Utakwa River), Ninay Valley, Pass Valley, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia), Solomon Islands.
