Distribution

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Not a common species. It is widely distributed but not yet recorded in Papua New Guinea. There is no doubt that Zygaenosia subhyalinifascia Rothschild, 1913 is conspecific with Z. fuscimarginalis (Swinhoe, 1892). Both species were described in the other sex.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Yapen Island: Ambaidiru; New Guinea: Borme, Dorey (Manokwari), Kapaur (Fakfak), Timeepa, Utakwa River, Walmak. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: none.
