Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A rare species. Three subspecies are recognized which all occur on islands: ssp. fumosa (Numfor Island), ssp. flaviventris (Biak Island) and ssp. inferna (Obi Island, Moluccas). There is a similar specimen in BMNH from Utakwa River but this might be a misidentification.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Obi (Moluccas).
