[Chelonia costata Boisduval, 1832] (holotype: Port Praslin, New Ireland, PNG, in BMNH)

Diacrisia costata vivida (lectotype: Fergusson Island, PNG, in BMNH)

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfoor; New Guinea: Ampas, Bagia (Arso district), Genyem, Gere (Arso district), Jayapura, Keerom, Ngat Biep (Arfak), Sawia (Arso district), Taja, Uskwar (Arso district), Wembi (Arso district). Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago.
