Distribution
STATUS: Only known from central Papua Indonesia, but it is to be expected from at least the central western part of Papua New Guinea. The species prefers higher altitudes and it is rather rare, though locally it can be common like in Pass Valley.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: New Guinea: Bivak 40 (Star Mountains), Mt. Goliath (Mt. Yamin), Mokndoma, Pass Valley, Walmak (Nipsan). Details in gazetteer.
