Euchromia rubrilinea Hulstaert, 1924 [holotype (TL: Digul, Papua Indonesia) in RMNH)

STATUS: A rather common species and probably widely distributed through New Guinea. Seems to prefer lower altitudes. In New Guinea represented by the nominotypical subspecies isis. Subspecies intensa Rothschild, 1916 occurs on Dampier Island (Manam, PNG). It is, however, doubtful that this taxon indeed has the subspecies status.

Details in gazetteer.
