Distribution
STATUS: Very common in lowland areas.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Numfor Island; Biak; Yapen: Waropen; Roon; Salawati; New Guinea: Depapre, Jayapura, Keerom River, Kouh, Manokwari, Meja Reserve, Noordwijk (nr Jayapura), Prafi, Sentani, Sorong, Tanah Merah, Tandia, Timika, Ubrub, Wapoga, Warkapi. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: A very wide distribution from India in the northwest to the Solomon Islands in the southeast. In China it enters the Palaearctic Region as north as in the province Shaanxi.
