Distribution
STATUS: A common species. It seems to prefer low to moderate altitudes.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Salawati; Supiori Island: Nansfori; New Guinea: Ampas, Dojo, Ifar, Genyem, Jayapura, Kaisah, Kobakma, Lereh, Mabilabol, Manokwari, Mokwam, Prafi, Senopi, Sentani, Sorong, Tami, Timika, Tuan Wowi, Van Weelskamp, Waena, Wambes, Warkapi, Warmare Dua. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: ssp. eusemioides: Papua New Guinea; ssp. subrupta Rothschild, 1897: Bismarck Archipelago.
