Distribution
STATUS: In Papua locally common but not generally. Yakovlev (2011b) considers biakensis Roepke, 1957 to be a subspecies of persona. These specimens have the white pattern denser and more cream-white than in the typical form.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Batanta Island; Biak Island: Biak; New Guinea: Abepura, Ampas, Bernhard Camp, Besum, Depapre, Entrop, Ifar, Jayapura, Kouh, Mabilabol, Senggo, Tekai (Keerom District), Ubrub, Uskwar, Wambes, Yongsu, Yuruf. Details in gazetteer.
