Distribution
STATUS: Widely distributed in Indo-Australia, from Northern India to Northeast Australia. In Papua a common species in both, lowland and mountainous areas.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak: Base Biak, Korem; Supiori: Korido; Roon: Yende; New Guinea: Ampas, Depapre, Fakfak, Furu Camp (Foja Mts.), Genyem, Jayapura, Kota Nica (Jayapura), Kouh, Landikma, Mabilabol, Manokwari, Marina Valen, Merauke, Pass Valley, Rasiei, Sentani, Sinimburu (Upper Digul), Taritatu River, Ubrub, Uskwar, Wambes, Warkapi, Yuruf. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Throughout Southeast Asia: North India, South China, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, East Queensland.
