Distribution
STATUS: More abundant in the Moluccas, in West Papua a rare species. Especially the females are seldom seen. In Papua the species is represented by ssp. albertisi, all other described subspecies in this area concern just variations.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Yapen Island: Ambaidiru; New Guinea: Andai, Dotir, Epomani, Fakfak, Miei, Warkapi. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas.
