Distribution
STATUS: A common and extremely variable species. There is no preference for lowland or mountain areas, although it seems more abundant in lowland.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: Waigeo Island; Supiori Island: Nansfori; Biak Island; Yapen Island; New Guinea: Affi, Ampas, Araucaria Camp, Asike, Bora-Bora, Demaisi, Depapre, Dotir, Fakfak, Getentiri, Ifar, Jayapura, Keerom, Kouh, Mt. Kunupi, Gn. Meja Reserve, Mist Camp, Mokwam, Moss Forest Camp, Samabusa, Senggo, Sibil, Sorong, Top Camp, Uskwar, Utakwa River, Vriendschap River. Details in gazetteer.
