Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: Widely distributed in New Guinea. A common species. According to Schintlmeister the genus Phalera is in New Guinea represented by amboinae, a species which also occurs in the Moluccas.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island; Yapen Island; New Guinea: Ampas, Arso, Arvio, Asike, Bewani River, Depapre, Jayapura, Kwimi, Nabire-Ilaga road, Om, Parfi, Senopi, Sorong, Tekai, Uskwar, Wambes, Wembi, Wendesi.. Details in gazetteer.

EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Queensland (Australia).
