Distribution

 

 

 

 

 

STATUS: A widely distributed common species. It prefers mountainous areas. The species is very variable in ground colour and pattern.

PAPUA LOCALITIES: Biak Island; New Guinea: Abmisibil, Affi, Ampas, Andai, Besum, Bilai, Bilogai, Boma, Dotir, Furu Camp, Kloofbivak, Landikma, Lelambo, Mabilabol, Marina Valen, Ngat Valley, Prafi, Samabusa, Senggo, Senopi, Sentani, Sibil, Uskwar, Van Weels Camp (3rd SW New Guinea Exp.), Walmak, Wambes, Warkapi, Yemang, Yongsu. EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Moluccas, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Solomon Islands.
